XHelpers Pro End User License Agreement

Effective date: 2026-09-04

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of XHelpers Pro (the "Software"), a macOS utility provided by Xintech LLC ("Xintech", "we", "us", or "our").

By installing, copying, or using the Software, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. License Grant

Xintech grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on Mac computers that you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business use.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially host the Software;
redistribute the Software except through an official Xintech-approved release channel;
modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Software;
reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
remove or alter copyright, license, or proprietary notices; or
use the Software in a way that violates applicable law.

3. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. Xintech and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in this Agreement.

4. Features, Permissions, and User Data

The Software provides a changing set of local macOS utilities. Depending on the installed version, these may include display, custom-resolution, window, focus, input, audio, subtitle, Wi-Fi, keyboard-backlight, screen-capture, OCR, translation, image, PDF, text, Markdown, binary-viewing, Finder, clipboard, archive, Safe, app-installation, font, storage, redundancy, startup, system health, maintenance, reclaim, and uninstall tools. The Software may also provide optional Bring Your Own AI configuration and a minimal provider test for the supported OpenAI, Anthropic, and xAI integrations. Available features depend on the installed version, Mac hardware, macOS, permissions, and third-party software.

Some features require Accessibility, Input Monitoring, Screen Recording, System Audio Recording, Speech Recognition, Location, Automation, Full Disk Access, Notifications, administrator authorization, or a privileged helper. You are responsible for deciding whether to grant a permission and may revoke it in macOS System Settings, although the related feature may then stop working.

File, Finder, clipboard, archive, Safe, image, PDF, install, uninstall, reclaim, display, resolution, audio, pointer, remapping, and system actions can create, copy, move, transform, replace, delete, install, or expose content, or alter app or system behavior. Maintain independent backups, verify destinations and results, and do not use your only copy of important data for testing. Current Image Tools and PDF Quick Actions are designed to publish new outputs without overwriting their inputs, but you remain responsible for reviewing every output. PDF fidelity depends on Apple's PDFKit and an operation may reject, preserve, change, or invalidate annotations, forms, permissions, encryption, or digital signatures. The Software is not a legal-signature validator, certified redaction service, archival-fidelity service, or substitute for review of the result. Xintech cannot recover a forgotten Safe, archive, or PDF password and does not possess your local encryption keys. Font Manager downloads only the font families you select and their license notices from the pinned Google Fonts repository hosted by GitHub. It keeps managed copies and ownership records in Application Support, registers those fonts persistently for the current user, and removes only its verified managed copies when you choose removal. App Installer may install Apple's Command Line Tools, download and install a pinned Homebrew release, use Homebrew to download and install selected third-party formulae or casks, create the Homebrew prefix, and, if you leave its option enabled, append Homebrew's shell-environment line to ~/.zprofile. Package installers may request administrator credentials and can modify system or user files outside XHelpers Pro. Review every selection and the applicable Apple, Homebrew, package, app, and font terms.

Screen capture, OCR, clipboard, pin, shelf, copy, save, and share actions may process or disclose confidential material visible on your screen or contained in a document. You are responsible for having the right to capture, transform, copy, save, or share that material. When you choose the system share menu, clipboard, or another application, the selected recipient can receive the content and its own terms and privacy practices apply.

System-health findings, OCR, translation, speaker separation, subtitles, and other recognition or diagnostic results are best-effort and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Mac Health provides informational observations and safe handoffs. Watch runs only when you enable it and while the Software runs; it does not continue after the app quits. Mac Health is not proof of a cause, automatic remediation, or a replacement for Activity Monitor, qualified technical support, or professional advice. Do not rely on the Software for safety-critical, accessibility-critical, medical, emergency, legal, financial, or other high-risk uses.

When you direct the Software to open a path or item in another application, that application's terms, privacy practices, network behavior, and compatibility apply. Xintech does not control third-party applications or services.

If you configure an AI provider, you are responsible for the provider account, credentials, model selection, applicable provider terms, usage limits, and charges. AI services can be unavailable and can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or harmful output. Selecting a default AI does not authorize the model to read files, run commands, or control Software features. Do not treat AI output as a substitute for professional advice or independent review.

The Software does not include or install the Codex SDK, Claude Agent SDK, or their CLIs. If you choose either integration, you are responsible for separately installing and maintaining the exact compatible SDK under its provider's terms. The OpenAI Responses API integration does not require a local agent SDK.

5. Updates, Services, and Availability

Xintech may provide updates, but is not obligated to do so. Updates may be subject to this Agreement or to updated terms provided with the update.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xintech does not promise that the Software, any particular feature, any update, any download or re-download, any update feed, any license activation or validation service, any third-party integration, or any distribution channel will remain available for any particular period of time. Xintech may modify, suspend, discontinue, remove, or stop distributing the Software or any related feature, update, service, download, distribution channel, or support resource at any time.

Some Software features may depend on macOS, Apple services, third-party services, third-party tools, network connectivity, hardware capabilities, or security permissions. Optional account features additionally depend on Supabase, email delivery, Apple, Google, Xintech's account service, network availability, and a supported signed build of the Software. Xintech is not responsible for changes, outages, removals, restrictions, review decisions, or discontinuation by Apple or any third party.

If the Software or a related service is discontinued, copies you already have may continue to function only to the extent they remain compatible with your Mac, macOS version, license status, security settings, and any required third-party services or tools.

The Software may include third-party or open-source components governed by their own license notices. This Agreement does not restrict rights granted directly under those notices.

6. Privacy

The Software is designed as a local utility. It contains no app-analytics or advertising SDK and does not send app-usage telemetry to Xintech. A Xin account is optional: the local tools, the trial, and local license activation work while you are signed out.

The Software locally processes or stores feature preferences, identifiers, bookmarks, license information, bounded diagnostics, eligible clipboard text, screen captures and recognized text, image and PDF working content and outputs, Text Editor crash-recovery drafts, redundancy digests, indexes, and journals, uninstall and storage-reclaim inventories, histories, and journals, quarantined items, and bounded Mac Health evidence as described in the Privacy Policy. Content may also leave the Software when you explicitly copy, save, share, open, or send it to another app or service.

Limited network requests may occur for automatic or manual update checks and downloads; license activation, periodic validation, and deactivation; Apple system language-model downloads; Apple Command Line Tools installation you initiate through App Installer; Font Manager downloads of the selected pinned Google Fonts files and license notices from GitHub; App Installer downloads of the pinned Homebrew release from GitHub and selected formula or cask payloads from Homebrew and upstream package or app providers; and communications or sharing actions you choose to send. Homebrew analytics and automatic updates are disabled for App Installer operations, but Homebrew and upstream providers receive ordinary network metadata and requested package or app identifiers under their own terms. An AI provider request occurs only when you explicitly use an enabled AI test or a separately disclosed AI-backed feature. If you use the optional Xin account, requests also occur for sign-up, sign-in, sign-in codes, password recovery, Google and Apple identity exchange, session refresh, enrollment, membership and entitlement status, license linking, and deletion. This version keeps Safe archive workflows local and does not provide a Xintech-hosted Safe transfer or link-sharing service.

6A. Optional Xin Account, Membership, and Entitlement

A Xin account is optional for local use of the Software and may be required for named server features. Sign-in is offered with email and a password, an emailed sign-in code, Google, or Sign in with Apple.

Local license activation, Xin membership, and server entitlement are separate. Deleting XHelpers data or a Xin account is not a refund, a subscription cancellation, or a license deactivation, and it does not remove local files or local activation. Mandatory refund and consumer rights are unaffected.

You are responsible for keeping access to at least one linked sign-in method. Xintech does not transfer or merge an identity, membership, entitlement, or license and does not grant access to an account based only on an email address, a display name, a receipt image, or knowledge of a license key.

Provider identities converge only under the configured verified-email provider contract, or when you explicitly link a method while signed in. Provider outages, restrictions, policy changes, suspension, and discontinuation can affect account features.

Deleting XHelpers data and deleting the Xin account everywhere are irreversible once accepted and have the distinct consequences described in the Privacy Policy. The account service keeps the minimal deletion record described in the Privacy Policy and does not keep backup copies from which a deleted account could be restored.

Xintech may apply rate limits, require acceptable use, and suspend or restrict account features to address abuse, security risk, or legal obligations, and may modify or discontinue account features. Local use of the Software under this Agreement does not depend on those features.

Apple, Google, Supabase, and Lemon Squeezy terms apply severally to their own services. No provider is the authority for another provider's boundary, and none of them is a party to this Agreement.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, XINTECH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NONINFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, CONTINUED AVAILABILITY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, XINTECH WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE OR THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF XINTECH HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, XINTECH'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE OR THIS AGREEMENT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO XINTECH FOR THE SOFTWARE, OR USD $10 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited in your jurisdiction.

9. Termination

This Agreement terminates automatically if you violate it. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and delete all copies in your possession or control.

Deleting XHelpers data, a Xin account, or a sign-in identity does not terminate this Agreement or your license to the Software, and terminating this Agreement does not by itself delete account data. Use the deletion operations described in Section 6A and in the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise. You retain any mandatory protections available in your place of residence.

11. General Terms

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign this Agreement except with Xintech's written consent; Xintech may assign it as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of the Software business, subject to applicable law.

This Agreement, the Privacy Policy, applicable third-party notices, and any purchase terms presented at checkout constitute the agreement concerning the Software. Purchases, taxes, billing, and refunds may also be administered by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record and remain subject to mandatory consumer law.
