Flexible Timers Activity Extension Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Flexible Timers Activity browser extension and its companion native-messaging host, which work with the Flexible Timers Pro desktop app by Xintech LLC.

What the extension does

When a supported browser is the frontmost application, the extension reads the active tab's URL and title and sends it to the Flexible Timers Pro app running on the same device, so the app can rank how much time you spend on each website.

What is collected

The URL and title of the active tab only, and only while a browser is in focus. The extension does not read, store, or modify the content of any web page; does not access tabs other than the active one; does not keep a browsing history of its own; and collects no personal information, credentials, form data, or analytics. There are no ads and no third-party trackers.

Where the data goes

The active-tab report is delivered only to the Flexible Timers Pro app running on your own computer — either through the app's local native-messaging host or a loopback (127.0.0.1) connection to the app on the same machine. Nothing is transmitted over the internet by the extension: there are no remote hosts in the extension, and the data is never sent to the developer or any third party.

How the data is stored

The Flexible Timers Pro app keeps activity data on your device only. It is not uploaded to any server and is not synced to your other devices. You can clear it at any time in the app (Automatic Activity Tracking → Reset tracked data), and disabling tracking removes the integration.

Your control

The integration is off by default and opt-in. It only works while the Flexible Timers Pro app is installed with website tracking enabled. Removing the extension, or turning off tracking in the app, stops all collection. Uninstalling the app removes the stored data.

Data sharing and sale

Xintech LLC does not sell, rent, or share this data with anyone. It does not leave your device through the extension.

Children

The extension is not directed at children and collects no personal data.
