XTimers Privacy Choices

XTimers provides separate controls for Xin Account identity, XTimers product data, synchronization, automatic activity tracking, reports, and SMS. This page explains what each account choice does.

Sign Out of XTimers

Signing out ends XTimers sign-in on that device and pauses authenticated synchronization. It does not delete the Xin Account, XTimers server data, or local timers. Signing in again can restore authorized synchronization.

Remove XTimers From a Device

Removing XTimers or its local account data from a Mac, iPhone, or iPad removes only the copies on that device. It does not request deletion of the Xin Account or server copies of connected XTimers data. Device and operating-system backup behavior may apply to local copies.

Delete XTimers Data

In XTimers account controls, choose Delete XTimers Data and confirm with the fresh security code sent to the Xin Account email. This permanently deletes the selected XTimers account's active timer, snapshot, custom-sound, feedback, reminder, message, SMS configuration, and push-registration data, and removes its local XTimers data from that device. The Xin Account, shared sign-in identity, and any other connected products remain available.

Delete Xin Account

Choose Delete Xin Account only to delete the shared identity. XTimers shows the connected products that will be deleted and requires a fresh security code sent to the Xin Account email. The process permanently deletes every listed connected product account before it deletes the Xin Account identity, sessions, linked sign-in providers, and active recovery records. An unfinished or zero-product Xin identity can be deleted when it has no connected XTimers account.

If a deletion is interrupted, XTimers keeps a non-secret recovery record and resumes the same request. Do not start a different deletion for the same account while recovery is continuing.

Separately maintained request logs, IP information, security records, deletion receipts, and diagnostic submissions may remain when needed for security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, fraud or abuse prevention, or service administration, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Manage Synchronization

Core timers can be used without signing in. Xin Account sign-in is used to authorize XTimers synchronization. Signing out pauses future authenticated synchronization without deleting either account scope.

Manage Automatic Activity Tracking

Automatic application tracking can be enabled or disabled in XTimers settings. Website-hostname tracking is available only in the separately distributed XTimers Pro edition, where browser integration can also be enabled or disabled. Activity records stay on the Mac unless the user explicitly emails or publishes a report containing selected activity information.

Manage Online Reports

When creating an online report link, choose an expiration of 1, 7, 30, 90, or 365 days. The link stops working after that expiration. To avoid uploading report content, use local copy or export options instead of email or online publishing.

SMS Choices

SMS features require a verified phone number and affirmative consent. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages or HELP for help. Deleting the connected XTimers account also removes its active phone and SMS configuration, subject to records that must be retained for carrier, legal, security, or abuse-prevention purposes.

Feedback Choices

XTimers offers separate choices to send feedback anonymously or attach it to the signed-in account. Ordinary network request metadata may still be recorded when anonymous feedback is submitted.
