See the task name and timer reading right in your Mac’s menu bar, without opening the main window. Click for quick access to start and pause tasks, switch sets and open reports. A global shortcut and stay-on-top windows keep the controls close.

Your time, at a glance.

Keep an eligible timer visible on your iPhone Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. See the task and its reading, then pause or resume supported timers without opening the full workspace.

iPhone

Requires a supported device and system permission. World clocks do not create Live Activities.

13Siri and Shortcuts

Begin with a word or a tap.

Start, pause or toggle an eligible timer with Siri and Shortcuts. Add system controls for starting a fresh stopwatch or pausing and resuming the current task.

See how your app time adds up.

Opt in to track time spent in frontmost Mac apps. Review your activities by day, week, month or year, with choices for how away time is counted.

Available in local and legacy profiles; hidden for local-first sync accounts. App identity and idle time stay on this Mac. Websites, browsing history and window titles are not captured.

Native controls in standard XTimers for the reporting period, active-task scrolling and away time. Tracking is off in this setup.

Do I need an account?

No account is needed for core local timers, countdowns, world clocks and local reports. Sign in when you want account synchronization or account-based reminders.

XTimers uses a Xin Account to identify and authenticate a user. A Xin Account is the shared identity layer for XTimers and any other connected products listed in the account controls; it is not an XTimers product account and does not contain XTimers timers, reports, sounds, or SMS data.

Can I use XTimers offline?

Core timing and local reports work offline. Synchronization, online sharing and server reminders need a connection. World Calendar on Mac needs an initial catalog download; its installed catalog can then be used offline.

Can several timers run together?

Yes. Choose whether moving to another task pauses the previous eligible timer or lets it keep running. Task sets help keep different activities organized.

Are the features the same on every device?

The core workspace includes timers, countdowns, clocks, task sets and reports. Mac adds menu-bar controls and World Calendar. iPhone supports Live Activities on compatible devices, while iPad makes room for larger task layouts.

How do phone reminders work?

Reminders go to your own eligible, verified number with separate SMS or call consent. Availability depends on your account, region and the service. A scheduled call needs server confirmation; Call Me uses English and does not automatically redial.
