XTimers Terms
These terms govern the XTimers services operated by Xintech LLC. XTimers is an Apple-platform productivity app for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. By using XTimers, you agree to these terms. App Store copies are governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a custom license agreement is presented for XTimers in the App Store or App Store Connect; these terms supplement the applicable license for XTimers accounts and services.
Xin Account Identity and Security
XTimers uses Xin Account for shared sign-in. You are responsible for the identity information you provide, protecting your sign-in methods and devices, maintaining access to your account email, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. You may not misuse identity, recovery, linked-provider, session, or connected-product features or attempt to access another person's account.
A Xin Account can authorize access to XTimers and other connected products listed in the account controls. Deleting a Xin Account deletes every listed connected product account before deleting the shared identity. Deleting only XTimers data leaves the Xin Account and other connected products available.
XTimers Product, Synchronization, and Messaging Use
XTimers product data, synchronization, reports, sounds, timers, alarms, and messaging remain XTimers services even though Xin Account provides sign-in. Features that work without sign-in may keep data on that installation. Signing in enables eligible product data to synchronize, but it never promotes a local-only alarm automatically; alarm promotion is an explicit user action.
Alarms and Device Targeting
A signed-in alarm may have one shared definition and a separate “Rings On” choice for each eligible device. A local-only alarm can ring only on the installation where it was created. A target choice is a request, not proof that a device scheduled or canceled the alarm. XTimers reports “Pending Apply,” “Pending Cancellation,” “Needs Permission,” “Unavailable,” “Failed,” “Sync Pending,” and other truthful states when it cannot confirm delivery.
On iPhone and iPad, system alarm delivery depends on AlarmKit authorization and operating-system scheduling. On Mac, delivery requires the Mac to be awake, XTimers to be running, and required permissions to remain available. Offline devices can act later and may continue ringing until they receive and apply an update. Stop or snooze actions can take time to appear on another device. Do not treat XTimers as a guaranteed delivery service.
User Content, Sounds, Backgrounds, and Reports
You retain responsibility for names, notes, reports, custom sounds, background photos, and other content you provide. You represent that you have the rights needed to use and share that content. You give Xintech LLC only the limited permission needed to store, process, synchronize, publish, or deliver it when you request an XTimers feature. Published links may be accessible to anyone who receives the link until it expires or is removed.
SMS and Email Program
After a signed-in user gives explicit consent, XTimers may attempt to send a setup verification code to the user-entered proposed account phone number. User-created reminder SMS may be attempted only after successful verification and opt-in, and only to that same phone number. XTimers does not send marketing SMS and does not allow SMS to arbitrary third-party recipients. SMS use is also governed by the SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
Do not use XTimers to violate law or another person's rights; probe or interfere with the service; bypass access, rate, or security controls; distribute harmful content; impersonate another person; or send messages to a recipient you are not authorized to contact. You are responsible for the accuracy of schedules, recipients, device settings, and content you configure.
Third-Party Services and Permissions
XTimers can rely on Apple system services and permissions, Apple or Google sign-in, calendar providers already configured in Apple Calendar, and providers used for hosting, notifications, email, SMS, diagnostics, and website analytics. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Opening an external benefit or support site also leaves XTimers and is subject to that site's practices.
No Emergency Use
XTimers is not designed for emergency, medical, safety-critical, or life-critical timing. Use a dedicated system for those needs.
Availability and Disclaimers
Features can be delayed, interrupted, changed, or unavailable because of permissions, device power or connectivity, operating-system behavior, third-party services, maintenance, or failures. To the extent permitted by law, XTimers is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that every alarm, notification, message, synchronization, or report will be delivered, retained, or error-free. Applicable consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
Suspension, Termination, and Deletion
You may stop using XTimers, sign out, delete XTimers product data, or delete the shared Xin Account using the available controls. Xintech LLC may limit or suspend service access when reasonably needed to protect users or the service, comply with law, investigate abuse, or address a material violation of these terms. Deletion and retention are described in the Privacy Policy and Privacy Choices.
Changes to These Terms
Xintech LLC may update these terms as XTimers changes. The effective date on this page identifies the current version. If a change materially affects your use, notice will be provided as reasonably appropriate.
