CPJournal Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 13, 2026.
CPJournal is a competitive-programming progress journal operated by Xintech LLC. This policy covers the CPJournal web app and the CPJournal Importer browser extension.
What CPJournal Does
CPJournal helps users track contest, problem, submission, and progress history across supported competitive-programming websites. The browser extension reads supported pages only to import user-selected or user-authorized progress into the user's private CPJournal account.
Information CPJournal May Collect
Depending on the features you use, CPJournal may collect:
- CPJournal account identifiers and configured competitive-programming usernames.
- Authentication information needed to access your CPJournal account, such as a CPJournal bearer token stored by the extension or app.
- Contest, problem, submission, verdict, language, score, test-result, timestamp, note, and progress metadata.
- Supported-site page URLs and visible page content needed to identify contests, problems, submissions, profile ownership, and result details.
- Privacy-sanitized operational telemetry such as event identifiers, timestamps, extension version and installation identifier, supported-site account identifiers, submission counts, import stages, and short status or error messages needed to operate and troubleshoot imports.
Information CPJournal Does Not Collect
CPJournal Importer does not upload website cookies, website passwords, website session tokens, source code, raw page HTML, hidden page data, or full problem statements. Operational telemetry does not contain bearer tokens, cookies, URLs, raw HTML, source code, problem statements, or import payload bodies. The extension is intended to import normalized progress metadata from supported pages.
How Information Is Used
Xintech LLC uses CPJournal information to:
- Show your submissions, contests, problems, notes, and progress in CPJournal.
- Merge imports from the web app, local app, extension, and supported public APIs.
- Avoid duplicate imports and avoid unnecessary repeat traffic to contest websites.
- Secure, operate, debug, and improve CPJournal.
Browser Extension Storage
The CPJournal Importer extension may store its CPJournal configuration, bearer token, user settings, queued normalized import batches, and a bounded queue of privacy-sanitized telemetry awaiting server acknowledgement in the browser's local extension storage. Queued data is used when an upload cannot be completed immediately and is removed after the server acknowledges it. The extension does not display an operational log.
Where Information Is Sent
Imported CPJournal data is sent to CPJournal services operated for Xintech LLC, including the CPJournal web app hosted at dataol.net. Xintech LLC may use infrastructure service providers to host, store, secure, and operate CPJournal.
Sharing and Sale
Xintech LLC does not sell CPJournal data. Xintech LLC does not share CPJournal data with third parties for advertising, marketing, credit, lending, or unrelated profiling purposes.
Your Control
You choose which CPJournal users and competitive-programming accounts are configured. You can remove the browser extension, clear its local storage, remove configured usernames, or request support for account and data questions.
Children
CPJournal is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to CPJournal, contact Xintech LLC so it can be reviewed.
Changes
Xintech LLC may update this policy when CPJournal behavior changes. The effective date will be updated when the policy changes.
